Privacy Policy

We, the Initiative for Democratic Labour Time Calculation, hereby inform you about which personal data is processed when you visit our website or use related services offered by us. Our privacy policy is continuously updated. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For explanations of legal terms such as “personal data” or “processing,” we refer to Article 4 GDPR. Please keep in mind that your data is never completely secure from third-party access on the internet. For example, your emails to us may have security vulnerabilities. In general, we recommend that you educate yourself on how to encrypt emails and use secure accounts.

The entity responsible for data processing related to the website according to Art. 4 No. 7 GDPR is:

Web Hosting

Our website is hosted by noblogs.org, a project of the A/I collective from Italy. The A/I collective has been providing communication tools to left-wing activists for many years.

Log Data

In order for you to visit the website, log data must be collected from you. Log data includes, for example, the date, time, IP address, browser type, operating system, data volume, or the last visited website. Such data is automatically collected by the website and stored in a log file. This allows possible problems to be traced and fixed later. Your log data is stored on the servers of noblogs.org, a project of the A/I collective from Italy.

Log data is usually not personal data. However, IP addresses are personal data. The IP address is processed so that you can securely access the website technically. It is not combined with data from other sources and is not used to identify you as a person. The legal basis for processing your IP address is our legitimate interest to provide the website (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

Cookies

The website uses technical and analytical cookies. According to the A/I collective, noblogs.org is not legally required to obtain consent for technical and analytical cookies under applicable law. For all other types of cookies, however, you can consent by configuring your browser settings or adjusting third-party service settings. Both solutions might prevent you, as a user, from using parts of the website.

  • Technical cookies: Technical cookies can be persistent or session-based. Persistent cookies remain stored until a set expiration date after the browser is closed. Session cookies are deleted every time the browser is closed. Technical cookies are necessary for the correct display of the website and the offered technical services and are therefore always used unless the user changes the browser settings (which may restrict website usability).

  • Analytical cookies: Analytical cookies collect anonymous information about user activity and how users accessed the website. Such information is used for anonymous statistical analyses. No personal reference is possible.
